ComputerXplorers offers weekend technology and computing clubs featuring exciting and innovative technology-based sessions – from creating your own computer game to keyboarding skills and everything in between!
Saturday Morning Computer Club
ComputerXplorers will be running a Saturday morning computer club for 8 to 11 year olds from April to July at Onslow Village Hall, Guildford. The club will run from 10 am till 11.30.
During the term we will work on two different activities:
Part 1: 3D design and printing
Learn the skills to create your own 3D design, then get creative with the powerful 3D design program SketchUp. Finally have your design printed by our very own 3D printer. The course includes the cost of printing a 3D model for each child..
Part 2: Micro:bit programming
Use our awesome micro:bit mini computers for your own inventions. You can use the micro:bit for all sorts of cool creations, from robots to musical instruments - the possibilities are endless. With its 25 LED lights, accelerometer and bluetooth connection you can use your creativity and newly learned coding skills to create your own amazing gadgets.

When: 10 till 11.30 am on April 21, 28, May 5, 19, 26, June 9, 16, 23, 30, July 7, 14
Cost: £88 for 11 sessions.
ComputerXplorers will provide all of the equipment for the course.
